Well I got a little older, learned to play guitar and I wrote a couple simple songs

I met a little woman in the Swedish hills and she showed me 'bout settlin' down.

So we had a couple kids, made some money, hit the skids - but all I kept thinkin' bout

Was old Cinnamon, my Cinnamon Man. . .

Now I'm sitting all alone, got a couple kids in tow and a habit that won't leave me be

And all that I remember is that evening in December when old Cinnamon walked out on me
